My passions are building bridges and solving problems – connecting great people to meaningful opportunities, finding creative and original solutions to complex problems, and strengthening our community along the way.
My default mode is asking, "What if we tried this?" I love to challenge assumptions and rapidly brainstorm possibilities, turning what seems impossible into our next competitive advantage.
I came to Merryman after 7+ years in the nonprofit sector, where I was a Program Director in workforce development and career prep programs throughout southwest Washington.
I’m deeply committed to our community, serving on Boards and Committees for Leadership Clark County, Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group, Boys and Girls Club, and Washougal School District, and was honored with the Historic Trust’s 2023 General George C. Marshall Public Leadership Award.
When I'm not at work, I’m usually outdoors exploring the PNW with my wife and our son.
Golf Game – My swing is a lot like my fishing cast: sometimes I hook a beauty, but most of the time I just hit a tree.
